    Smudge feathers are used with burning sage, cedar or sweetgrass during ceremonies and cleansing. The smoke is gently fanned, using the feather, to purify mind, spirit and soul. Used in the home, it purifies and removes negative energy and brings good, positive spirits. This smudge feather is decorated with a beaded rosette of abalone shell and a deerskin fringe.
