House panel considers Alaska Native and Pueblo bills at markup
• H.R. 1103, a bill to recognize the Alexander Creek Village in Alaska under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. The House Subcommittee on Indian and Alaska Native Affairs held a hearing on the bill on July 23, 2013. The Bureau of Indian Affairs testified against the measure.
• H.R.3110, the Huna Tlingit Traditional Gull Egg Use Act. The bill allows for the harvest of gull eggs by the Huna Tlingit people within Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska.
