Pechanga unveils dramatic lobby renovation
In a bid to better cater to modern tastes and make a “wow” first impression, the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians has renovated the lobby area of its resort and casino.
Tribe officials did not release an exact cost of upgrades to the 25,000-square-feet of space, noting only that they spent millions on the changes at the resort, one of the largest private employers in Riverside County.
“It came out fantastic. … Elegant. Timeless,” said Tribal Chairman Mark Macarro, talking about the finished product during a ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
