Off to a fast start, A.J. set over seven track records and multiple feature wins in his rookie year, giving him championship and “Rookie of the Year” honors. A.J. continued in all divisions of quarter midgets to the age of 12 where he moved his racing onto the dirt tracks of California and Arizona stacking up multiple wins and a championship. At age 15, A.J. entered the California Asphalt Trucks series where he won features that gave him “Rookie of the Year” status.
