Muscogee (Creek) Nation Welcomes Iroquois Nationals in Historic Meeting
The Muscogee (Creek) Nation will welcome ambassadors of the Iroquois Nationals lacrosse organization to Creek Country from February 16 to 18. The Iroquois and Muscogee cultures share a special bond through the related sports of lacrosse and Muscogee “stickball.” Both of these games have deep roots in their respective cultures and are the oldest stick-and-ball games in North America.
