Governor General Relents: Now will Attend “Ceremonial” Meeting with First Nations
In an abrupt reversal of his decision not to meet with Assembly of Nations chiefs in Ottawa tomorrow, Governor General David Johnston’s office announced today he will meet with the chiefs in a ceremonial meeting. The meeting will take place at Rideau Hall after the chiefs meet with Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
