    Indian Country Joins in World AIDS Day Movement December 1, 2012 marks the 24th anniversary of World AIDS Day, a global event celebrating, honoring, and remembering those in the HIV/AIDS movement. Since 1988 people around the world have taken up the red ribbon in their own way, a universal symbol of awareness and support for people living with HIV/AIDS and those who have passed on to the spirit world.
